NutriPal (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) helps you track nutrition, log meals and chat with Nouri, our AI nutrition coach. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Account data: your name, email address and authentication identifiers when you create an account.

Health and nutrition data: the foods you log, photos you take of meals, your goals, body metrics (such as height and weight) and activity level that you choose to enter.

Usage data: how you interact with the app, including features used, crash reports and approximate device information, so we can keep NutriPal reliable and improve it.

We use your data to provide the service: calculating your daily targets, analyzing meal photos and descriptions with Nouri, showing your progress and personalizing coaching.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your meal photos or health information to train AI models without your explicit permission.

When you chat with Nouri or describe a meal, the text you send is processed by our AI provider to generate your answer. Meal descriptions are used only to analyze nutrition for that request.

You can delete your chat history at any time from the app settings.

Your data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with access controls limited to what is necessary to run the service. We apply industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

You can access, export and delete your data from the app. Deleting your account removes your personal data in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU/EEA or California), you may have additional rights such as access, correction, portability and objection. Contact support@nutripal.fit to exercise them.

NutriPal is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes we will notify you in the app. The latest version always applies.
